Moreover, a fake memory card can cause a hybrid to fail while updating the firmware. How to protect yourself?

While inspecting SD-card, pay attention to the memory card standard:
SD (or SDSC). Capacity up to 4GB
SDHC. Capacity between 4GB to 32GB
SDXC. Capacity from 64GB to 2TB

Please note, fake SD-Cards will often have a poorly designed packaging with print errors or contradictory information.

Pay attention to price: if it is much lower than the general market price, there is a high chance that the SD-card is not genuine.

Please note, for the whole line of Neoline hybrids we highly recommend to use original memory cards of at least 10 speed class UHS-1 of trusted manufacturers: Kingston, Transcend, Samsung, Toshiba, Sony. We also strongly recommend formatting the card every three months.
